Noah and the flood
Just placed
The time of Noah
Before Noah built the ark, the world was in a state of profound moral decay and corruption. Genesis 6:5-6 tells us, "The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled." Violence and immorality were rampant, and humanity had strayed far from God's righteous path. In response, God decided to cleanse the earth with a flood, sparing only Noah, who "found favor in the eyes of the Lord" (Genesis 6:8), due to his righteousness and obedience. This story reminds us of the importance of living in accordance with God's will and the impact of our actions on the world around us.
